Mr.Fraud Malayalam Movie

After ending 2013 on a high with Drishyam, Mohanlal is all set to commence 2014 with "Mr. Fraud". The film is written & directed by B. Unnikrishnan which brings back the team that gave successful movies in form of Madampi & Grandmaster. Mohanlal dons the role of a deception artist in this commercial entertainer where he is joined with a stellar cast in form of Siddhique, Saikumar, Vijay Babu, Rahul Madhav, Suresh krishna, Devan, Vijaykumar, P Balachandran etc etc. Miya, Manjari Phadnis & Pallavi Chandran play the female leads while Magadheera fame Dev Gill plays the main antagonist. Gopi Sundar, who will be doing a special appearance in the movie, joins hands with Hari Narayanan, Chittoor Gopi & Santhosh Varma to handle the song department. The frames are captured by Satheesh Kurup while editing is done by Manoj. The film is produced by A V Anoop under the banner A V A Productions and distributed by Aashirvad through Max Lab Release. Grand Master

Mohanlal is starring as a police officer in B.Unnikrishnan’s next Malayalam movie ‘Grand Master’, which is being produced by UTV Motion Pictures, their first venture in Malayalam. Max Lab has bagged the distribution right. Priyamani will play the lead role that of a lawyer in the movie.

In ‘Grand Master’, Mohanlal is playing an interesting Cop who is a mastermind in the game of Chess. However, he fails to master his life, with him divorced and living alone. Later on, he meets a stranger who changes his course of life and creates problems. Then it is all about how he moves his pawns to get back his life. The movie has a plot, which shows the dark side of city life. Director B.Unnikrishnan said he is planning on a different approach of film making on this one.

Actor Narain is joining the crew donning an important role in the film. He is playing a vibrant anti-hero role in this Malayalam movie. Narain was so excited after hearing the story and he immediately signed for the movie. This is the first time he is doing a role with grey shades. Earlier Tamil actress Andrea was supposed to do the lead role along with Mohanlal, which eventually went to Priyamani. In the movie there is said to be no romantic angle between the leads.

Jagathy Saikumar, Siddique, Sampath, Roma and Jaya Menon are other mainstream actors who plays important roles in this Malayalam movie. Deepak Dev will compose music for ‘Grand Master’.

The shooting is scheduled to start in December after Christmas and the movie will hit the theatres on April 5, 2012.

Spanish Masala

Spanish Masala is a comedy romance movie directed by Lal Jose. Dileep is playing the leading role in this film.He plays a Malayalee youngster, who lands in Spain as a mimicry artist, but circumstances force him to work as a chef and he falls in love with a Spanish girl.

The film is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam and Vidyasagar will compose the music. Spanish Masala is produced by Noushad under the banner of Big Screen Productions.

Venicile Vyapari-Exclusive Trailer

Venicile Vyapari tells the story of a police constable named Pavithran, who served the force in the eighties. Mammootty is playing the role of the police constable. The actor will appear in three different getups. He dons the period costumes, wearing khakki trousers and tall cap, which will be the highlight of the film.

The movie revolves around Pavithran, who lost his parents in his childhood. He enters police force by chance as it is not his ambition. So he resigns this job and starts coir business at Alapuzha. He starts exporting coir products. It is during this period he meets a bank manager Lakshmi and both became friends. Another character is Ammu, who is the union leader of coir workers. Pavithran loves her, but does not reveal his love.

Actress Poonam Bajwa is reprising the role of Lakshmi, while Kavya Madhavan appears as Ammu in the film Venicile Vyapari, which is being produced by Madhavan Nair under the banner of Murali Films. Bijibal will compose music for the lyrics of Kaithapram. Vijaya Raghavan, Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Suraj, Sreeraman, Kalabhhavan Shajon, Rajan Padoor are in other cast.

Arabiyum Ottakavum P . Madhavan Nayarum

The Mohanlal Priyadarshan movie “Arabiyum Ottakavum P.Madhavan Nayarum” has been renamed as “Oru Marubhumi Kadha” as per latest reports.The shooting of the film has completed almost fifty percent.The report says that the older title meant like insulting Arabs and so there were some protests against the title.This has made the makers to rename the film.The new name has not yet been offically announced to the media by the film crew.

Mohanlal plays the lead role of Madhavan Nair in the movie along with Mukhesh,Bhavana and Lakshmi Rai.The first schedule of the film was completed in Abudhabi. The film is expected to hit the cinemas on Noveber 4 of this year..
